Defensive Driving
The Defensive Driving Course is designed to provide
classroom and practical training on driving techniques used to identify
and evade hostile threats. The training will provide the student with
driving skills to identify, assess, and evade possible hostile
encounters on the road.
Topics
covered will be:
- Travel security assessment
- Driving emergency
response-braking drills, avoidance drills, response
drills, skid control
- City streets and heavy traffic
driving, close proximity driving
- High speed techniques, minimum
visual distance, whole road/restricted lane, cornering,
exiting the corner
- Evasive Actions - ramming
(barricades), reversing out, Y-turns, reverse 180 degree
turn (J-turns), PIT
- Attack recognition
 Class size:
Limited to 14 students (minimum of 8)
Length: 1 day
Tuition: $400 per student
Location: Northern Colorado front range
Prerequisite: Valid driver's license, active
law enforcement identification or pre-approved by Makhaira Group background check
($50 non-refundable additional fee for non-LEO required).
